Why did nexus mod manager not download all mods

I am new to modding, I added the mods to nexus and download f4se. I put the f4se files in the fallout folder, and launch from the f4se loader but I dont see the mods in game. I see the mods in the staging folder but the mods are not showing up in game or in the mods option in game.  · The main reason why we decided to create a new mod manager from scratch, rather than to continue on with Nexus Mod Manager is that the latter is based on code written for Oblivion (Oblivion Mod Manager) and Fallout 3 (Fallout Mod Manager) - games that are now over 10 years old.  · Sometimes this particular option will be the bug for the problem and not letting manager communicate with nexus URLs that you are trying to download. Vortex is Nexus' new official mod manager, built by the guy who made Mod Organizer. NMM was discontinued a long time ago. Can't speak for how good it is, since I don't use it.
