Download prompts don't appear on any website, I just tried it with Adobe's Flash Player as well. Problem is: User has to work in a customer's network and needs to open a VM via Citrix Receiver and with no download prompt, the Citrix file can't be downloaded to open the VM. In firefox everything is as expected and the user is prompted to download the file. However IE blocks this (and becuase the popup redirects itself afterwards the user never see's the security bar). So far the only way is to tell users to disable the setting "Automatic Prompting for file downloads" in IE which of course I'm reluctant to having make them do so. Disable the File Download Prompt.
